American Foundation Quarter Horses - Sound mind and body

The horses below are wonderful individuals that we have had the pleasure of knowing and sharing time with:

I'm a Noble Contender
(barn name Penny)

Penny was with us from a weanling until she died at 3.  She impacted and while we worked hard at saving her she couldn't recover from colic last April.  She is truly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.   Penny was a lovely Impressive/Skipper W cross who was very intelligent and athletic.  She loved to have someone work with her and especially loved playing with tarps and anything that flapped in the wind.  She could open any gate on the place and earned the nickname "Nimble Lips"  She was playful and very affectionate.  God bless Penny as she now rides in heaven.
Leo's Scooter Doc
 (barn name Butter)

Butter was a beautiful Buttermilk Buckskin that we throughly enjoyed having for a short time.  She was sold to our Vet - Pat O'Neil when we downsized our herd this summer.  She is an exceptional kids horse and loves attention!  She's not far away so we can visit her anytime.   Pat reports he and his kids are thrilled with her and we look forward to possibly breeding her with our stallion next year for a great foundation baby.
Controlled Implosion
barn name (CI (pronounced -sigh)
This filly was the first foal from our Gray Mare Ichi - Sold to William Pointer and as the photo shows is totally spoilt by him.  She's grown into a beautiful long yearling.  She and Will are great partners - now if he can only un-train her to coming into the house rummaging through the refrigerator for treats! *smile.

A Legend in Light
(barn name Lightfoot)

Lightfoot was the 2nd baby born at Quarter Roc.  A palomino colt out of our Palomino mare Lady.  This fella was born with muscles to spare!  Very sweet disposition and is now living in Scottsdale Ariz with a show family that adores him!  Watch for this boy's name to show up on the circuit someday!

Ebony Bar King
(barn name Ebby)

What can I say - probably the BEST horse I'll ever know or own - Ebby retired to Florida like all of us wish we could do!  Her new owner reports that she is thrilled with her and spoiling her rotten.  Poor Angie doesn't know yet that Ebony OWNS Angie. But shhh! We'll let Angie think she OWNS the horse for now. *smile

She is a beautiful solid black granddaughter of King P-234 and one awesome horse!  Sold during our downsizing and hopefully we will have the opportunity to purchase a filly from this mare in the future.   She is truly missed daily!

Honey
(grade)
Sweet palomino - Honey was the first horse we purchased when we began getting back into horses.  She was unfortunately not suited for breeding or inexperienced riding so she now has a new home in Johnson City and is very happy.
